In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until thoroughly cooked; drain. In a greased 13x9 baking dish, layer a third of the pasta sauce and beef, a single layer of ravioli, and ½ cup mozzarella. Repeat layers. Top with remaining sauce and cheese.
Cover and bake at 400F for 35-40 minutes or until heated through. If desired, top with basil to serve.
