Penne Arrabiata with Sautéed Shrimp

Serves 3
The Cucina di Carla Story

Instructions

 

This simple addition of quickly sautéed shrimp turns a spicy side dish into an easy main course.

Ingredients:                          

1 (15 oz Bag) Penne Arrabiata Steam Bag

1 tbsp Butter, salted

10 oz Bag Peeled and deveined medium Shrimp, thawed

Salt and Black Pepper

Directions

 
  1. In a pan over medium high heat, start melting 1 tbsp butter.
  2. In a bowl, toss the thawed shrimp with salt and black pepper to season evenly.
    - At this point, start following the cooking instructions on the Arrabiata Steam Bag -
  3. While the steam bag cooks, add the shrimp to the pan. Stirring often, cook for 5-6 minutes (or until done) and remove the pan from heat.
  4. Pour the cooked Penne Arrabiata into the pan and toss well with the shrimp to coat and distribute.

Serve hot.
