Carla’s Six Cheese Sacchettini Pasta Salad with Toasted Pecans, Blue Cheese, Fennel, and Maple Vinaigrette

Serves 4
The Cucina di Carla Story

Instructions

 

1 x 16 oz. Package of Carla’s Six Cheese Sacchettini (thawed in refrigerator overnight)

1 Cup Fennel, Sliced

½ Cup Pecans

4 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter

¼ Cup White Wine

½ Cup Maple Syrup

½ Lemon, Juiced

Fennel Fronds

Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Directions

 
  1. Melt Butter in sauté pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add Pecans and Fennel to pan, sauté until golden brown.
  3. Deglaze pan with White Wine, then add Maple Syrup and Lemon Juice.
  4. Season with Salt and Pepper.
  5. Simmer ingredients together for 2 minutes until slightly reduced.
  6. Toss Carla’s Six Cheese Sacchettini into sauté pan, mix with sauce to gently warm pasta and serve.
  7. Garnish with Fennel Fronds.
